I’m setting up my second business on the website. How do I login to my second business?

What happens is the system treats your two businesses as if they are two different people. You must have two different usernames, but you can have the same password for both businesses if you like. Once you have paid for that second business, the membership chair has to approve the second membership and set you up with an account name and password. Then she sends you that info so you can login and make a directory profile. She will change the renewal date of your second business so that it is the same day as your first business.

Membership Benefits

Are my donations to WBN tax deductible?

Payments to WBN are not deductible as charitable contributions but will probably be deductible as business expenses because we are a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization. Non-profit organizations ruled tax exempt under section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code include business leagues, chambers of commerce, trade associations, real estate boards, and boards of trade. Contributions to 501(c)(6) organizations are not deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes. Donations may be deducted as a business expense if they are "ordinary and necessary" in the conduct of the taxpayer's business.

Where can I put my business cards and promotional materials?

We have a networking table set up for members' use at every meeting. We have a card display that our networking chairperson keeps for you. (Please make sure to give her an ample supply). All other promotional material is your responsibility. Please do not put anything promotional on the luncheon tables. This is reserved for speakers only.

What is the networking basket?

To encourage getting to know new people and businesses, members who would like to connect with another member that month put their business card in and take one out. They agree to call and make a date to meet for coffee or lunch.
